5* to Moto Franka for making my bucket list trip possible. Almir was pleasant and easy to book with and available through the trip. He provided a beautiful, well equipped, and perfectly maintained yellow Moto Guzzi V85 (I did kind of fall in love with it). Moto Franka is the kind of shop that passionate motorcycle enthusiasts seek. He even agreed to met me on a Saturday afternoon so I could take the "long way" back. I rented in November and it was cold - the rental gear provided is top notch - from shoes, gloves, helmet, and even rain gear. Thank you Moto Franka - I hope to see you soon! Customer service and motorcycle integrity are the top to things when considering renting a motorcycle for a extended ride
This outfit has both of them in spades. This place is old school Nothing fancy but cover off all of the details to ensure a stress free  holiday
The motorcycle allthough not  new a 2017 BMW 1200R GS was perfectly prepared for a couple wanting to explore the beauty of the Balkans
Add that with having Almir the owner of Moto Franks tied to What’s App with daily and sometimes hourly updates on panoramic roads to ride while also considering the current weather conditions we were experiencing
Couple that with suggestions for eating and tourist tours we should consider while in the area filled our holiday with many memories for years to come
We our a mature couple from  Canada and have done numerous motorcycle trips prior to this one and was prepared to do what we do on our own but Almir made our decision process much easier on a daily basis   Can’t say enough about the organization. Maybe ours was a little different trip from Almir's usual moto renters.  We booked his two smallest bikes (DL-650s), turned off our Cells, had no lodging reservations, did not carry maps, and spoke no Slovenian or Croatian. We had four goals; ride toward the mountains, have some safe discovery adventures, find ourselves on Coastal road #8 and return to Zagreb a week later.

How did it turn out?  Wonderfully!  Of course my travel companion would occasionally Whats App Almir and say things like "How did we end up in Austria?"  So there would be some hand waving and questions like "Just where are you?" . We rode miles of 1-lane village roads, sneaked up on the backside of castles (no boiling oil or arrows), drove past dogs sleeping in the road, wandered through a rural Octoberfest, caught a snow storm on a pass outside Kanskagora, did not participate in the coastal nude sunbathing (you are welcomed!) ate at roadside fruit stands,  watched a Croatian Air Force airobatics display from the highway, learned that Chipichichi is NOT an original Croatian dish having been brought from Rome in the 1500's, and were mightily impressed at the roads and drivers here.

It was a fine trip. Even though we missed a ton of attractions that a guided tour would have provided, we captured that ethereal sense of freedom, open road, and letting the country draw and dictate the path ahead.  We will.come back and develop a set of target locations eventually but this intro trip fed a soul hungry for whimsy, impulse, and free agency. This week may have been diminished by additional planning (I don't like bucket lists either).  Sorry if we gave you an ulcer Almir. We will be better behaved next time!

발칸 반도와 중부 유럽 여행을 위해 이곳에서 15일 동안 오토바이를 빌렸습니다.

대여 가능 여부를 묻고 결제 까지 하는 과정이 모두 매끄럽게 진행되었고 자그레브로 들어와서 오토바이를 받고 다시 반납하는 여정 내에서도 어떤 의사소통의 문제 없이 합리적이고 시원시원하게 일 처리가 되어 만족스러웠어요.

여행 오기 전 사전 공부가 부족해 좀 막막했는데 왓츠앱을 통해서 경로,도시,가볼ㅡ만한 곳들을 꾸준히 추천해 주어 큰 도움을 받기도 했고요.

We rented 5 motorcycles from Moto Franka and were thoroughly impressed with Almir and Marco, they were very professional and kind and understood our requirements because they themselves are passionate motorcyclists.
Almir was always available for any information and support that we needed.The motorcycles performed without any problems and were in good condition. I would recommend them for anyone who wants to rent in Europe.
